Our Volunteer Program:

The Center relies upon its volunteers to support all of the Center's work. We have roles for every ability: daily/weekly maintenance, fundraising, publicity, and education.  We work hard and are a great group of volunteers that have fun together!  Please fill out the form to the left if you would like to join us.
We work with species regulated by the Department of Fish and Wildlife. In order to Volunteer with OCBPC, you must attend an orientation and be at least 15 years of age.   We have our New Volunteer Orientation once a year in November. In 2020 that will be Saturday, November 14th at 11 AM. After your orientation, you will need to commit to 6 hours/month (2 Saturday morning cleanings) for the first 6 months to ensure that you are adequately trained on working in mews.

If you are still interested, please proceed to fill out the form to the left.  We will send you an email upon receipt of your request and will follow up with you in July and October.  If you would like to participate sooner (or are unable to commit to our requirements), please click on "Release" and see if that would be something you would like to attend prior to our November orientation.

NON-PROFIT CORPORATION TAX ID NUMBER: 33-0440942
Including OCBPC in your final giving plans allows you to enjoy the benefits of a gift to charity while making a powerful statement about your commitment to the local environment and education.
