Help Us Build the Future of Raptor Rehabilitation in Orange County

For over 30 years, OCBPC has been Orange County's only nonprofit dedicated solely to the rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned raptors. Now, we're expanding our facility to meet growing demand, stay compliant with state and federal standards, and serve even more birds and people.

The Project

  A New Circular Flight Mew
This custom-built, round flight enclosure will allow recovering raptors to fly in continuous loops, rebuilding the muscle strength and conditioning they need to survive in the wild. It is not just an upgrade. It is a requirement. Without this structure, we cannot remain in compliance with the state and federal standards that allow us to rehabilitate eagles, falcons, and osprey.

New Education Mews
We are also constructing additional mews to house our non-releasable ambassador birds, the incredible animals that bring our education programs to life for tens of thousands of students and families each year.

Where We Stand
We have raised $186,000 toward our goal. We need $80,000 more to get across the finish line. Your gift today will: Keep OCBPC compliant with state and federal permitting standards so we can continue rehabilitating eagles, falcons, and osprey Give recovering raptors a true second chance at survival in the wild Make OCBPC one of the only raptor rehabilitation facilities in the region equipped to care for large raptors Expand hands-on science education in classrooms and communities across Orange County Ensure the long-term sustainability of our ambassador bird program Every dollar brings us closer to a facility where raptors can fully recover, where students can connect with the natural world, and where the next generation grows up inspired to protect it.
