2026 Tee Shirt Design Contest Overview.

If you are interested in submitting a design for consideration, please review the information below:
  • For 2026, the artwork will feature Tweek, one of our Great Horned Owl ambassadors. Reference photographs below.
  • Designs may be frameless/borderless or reside completely inside of any shape of a frame. However, the design must include
    • a reference to the Orange County Bird of Prey Center (the required text may reside anywhere on, in, above or below the design elements);
    • a reference to the year 2026; and
    • a reference to the featured bird by name (“Tweek”).
  • Submissions may be created digitally, or in any medium of the artist’s choice (painting, illustration, etc.)
  • Final artwork must be high quality and large enough to be rendered on a tee shirt without image degradation.
    • Digital art should be either an .eps vector image or a .png in a large size at 300 dpi. Additionally, if an image is prepared showing the design on a background (such as a sample shirt), a copy of the file without the shirt/background must be included for upload.
    • Original handmade art should be scanned at 300 dpi.
  • Entries must be emailed to [email protected] by midnight March 15, 2026.
  • Each submission must be the original creation of the artist submitting it.
By entering the contest, the artist agrees to allow necessary changes (not affecting the integrity of the design) that may be necessary to ensure the best presentation of the design on merchandise and online media.  The artist also agrees to grant exclusive use of the design to the Orange County Bird of Prey Center, to participate in media coverage of the contest (interviews and photos), and to allow OCBPC to share the image (with credit) over social media and other digital platforms.

REMEMBER: Entries must be emailed to
[email protected] by midnight on March 15, 2026.

HOW THE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN
